A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Tané – a name that means “goddess of the forest” in Tahitian. Growing up, my unique name often caused confusion (and a bit of frustration), but now I cherish it as it perfectly reflects my deep connection with nature and all its beauty.
My love for nature began in childhood, growing up surrounded by the rich scent of freshly sawn timber. My dad was a timber merchant, my grandfather a bridge builder, and my extended family included vegetable growers and garden merchants from Sydney’s early settlement days. Some of my happiest memories are playing in sawdust piles with my brothers. Nature, it seems, has always been in my blood.
Raised on the breathtaking Mid North Coast in sunny Sawtell, I was drawn to the ocean and the carefree beauty of coastal life. I spent endless hours swimming in the waves, basking on soft white sand, and watching clouds drift lazily across the vast blue sky. The sound of birds, the salty wind in my curly hair, and the whisper of the dunes were my constant companions.
When I’m not surrounded by flowers, you’ll find me exploring hidden beaches, trekking through rainforests, or snorkeling over vibrant coral reefs. I love venturing off the beaten track, discovering secluded coves, and indulging in local cuisines. Decadent chocolate is my ultimate weakness, and I’ll never say no to a good laugh with friends or a solo dance session in my living room.
Design and color have always been an obsession of mine. The interplay of hues, textures, and tones fascinates me. I’ve always believed there are no strict rules in design – only what feels right in the moment. My passion for color and creativity eventually led me to floral design, where I could merge my love of nature, design, and storytelling.
Wild Blossoms Floral Co. is a reflection of everything I adore: creating romantic, whimsical, and unforgettable floral designs that bring joy and wonder. My work is about celebrating nature’s artistry, delivering breathtaking blooms, and helping you make memories that last a lifetime. Through flowers, I share my love for color, beauty, and connection – just as Mother Nature does every day.
